Corporate Health Services Administrator - Juvenile
Jael Niebla has built a distinguished career spanning over two decades in healthcare, including 14 years dedicated to correctional healthcare. Rising from registered nurse to Health Services Administrator, Jael played a pivotal role in managing operations through the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic by successfully leading the medical team in navigating unprecedented challenges and ensuring patient care and staff safety. Later recognized by San Diego Probation for voluntarily administering nearly 1,000 Covid-19 vaccines to probation staff. Jael’s commitment to innovation in healthcare is evident by the development of the Narcan Education Program for Juveniles. This initiative addresses the rising opioid crisis within correctional facilities, equipping young individuals with life-saving knowledge and tools to prevent overdoses. Known for her leadership and problem-solving skills, Jael collaborates with San Diego Probation, Public Health, Rady’s Hospital, and various clinical teams to improve system-wide healthcare delivery. Outside of her administrative role, Jael is deeply involved in community service. As a dedicated volunteer, she is committed to improving the lives of underserved populations, consistently working towards positive social impact.
